This class is aimed at at women at any stage of menopause an aims to build/maintain muscle mass as we age. It is made up of a mobilising warm up, a 20 minute strength section using hand weights followed by a 10 minute flexibility section.
Equipment is limited so please bring your own dumbbells if you have them, a yoga mat and any blocks/cushions, straps and towels to help with the flexibility work.
Do bring weights that will challenge you. Between 1kg - 3kg is a good starting point if you are new to strength training. The workout can be done without weights if you prefer to just want to work on your mobility first.
This class is really popular so we are now asking everyone to book in advance and reserve their dumbells if needed.
